Welcome to a gallery of some of our wedding images
Please browse through this series of pictures to get a flavour of our style of wedding photography
It's very important that you like the style of your photographer
You choose the photographer but the photographer will choose your wedding photographs
Some will have a very candid reportage style where others will be more formal
Some will be all colour others will be all black and white
Ours is a documentary with discipline style, our task is to document your wedding day with a mix of photojournalistic and formal images, colour and b&w
We love the photojournalistic approach but we realise formal photography captures the important people
and this is a one off, we can't miss them!
Choosing a photographer means choosing a style
Our's is relaxed but disciplined!
Weddings are fun, and we just love capturing that fun feeling. All wedding photographers have their own style of photography. Some create more candid, more journalistic images. Others more formal and orderly. We are sort of a mixture of both but we lean more towards the journalistic side. We do understand that a lot of couples love that relaxed approach, more casual fly-on-the-wall photography but we also believe that it's no good being too chilled and missing out on some formal images that capture all the important players.
I suppose ours is a relaxed but quite disciplined style to wedding photography.....because you sure can't shoot this thing again!
The Pre-Wedding Shoot
Meeting up for a no-nerves pre-wedding shoot is a great way to get to know each other and ease some of that big day photophobia tension.
Early Day Preparations
It's great to capture those early big day nerves! When brides and grooms and everyone else are getting ready and the sense of excitement is everywhere!
Of all the parts of a wedding it's most important to capture this in beautiful images so everyone can relive those moments of that fabulous day.
The ceremony over, the serious stuff complete. We now need to capture the newly weds getting some well earned congratulations from friends and family.
One of the best parts of wedding photography is photographing the children. All dressed up and pumped up with excitement it's pretty hard not to capture some great images.
Romance and the Reception
With the nerves of the ceremony over it's time for some moments between husband and wife before we head off to the fun part of the day at the reception.
